The Cessna 172 Model is a historic aircraft made by Cessna Aircraft and more of the Cessna 172’s have been made than any other aircraft model in history. This single-engine, fixed-wing aircraft seats four passengers and first came into production in 1956. Originally developed as a variant of the Cessna 170, the Cessna 172 has spawned several variants itself and is still in production today.

The Cessna 175 Skylark is also a four-seater, single-engine aircraft that was produced by Cessna Aircraft between 1958 and 1962 and during that time, a total of 2,106 were made. Engineers of this aircraft designed the Cessna 175 with the intention of filling the interests of aircraft owners who wanted a slightly more powerful engine, and while there were some changes made in the airframe to accommodate for it’s heavier gross weight, the 175 is similar in appearance to the 172.
