Cessna Features New Safe Flight AOA System in Skyhawks

Cessna Aircraft, owned by Textron Aviation, is making Safe Flight SCc angle-of-attack standard equipment in the 172 Skyhawk, making it the first Part 23-certified production piston airplane to come from the factory equipped with this technology. Overall, the aircraft industry reported a decline in business jets and airplanes delivered during the third quarter of 2016. The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) reported that 534 business aircrafts were shipped during that quarter, compared to the 542 that were shipped in the third quarter of 2015.
