Made by Beechcraft since the mid-20th century, the Beech 33 Bonanza (previously known as the Debonair), the Beech 35 Bonanza, and the Beech 36 Bonanza are some of the most popular civil utility aircraft in America. Similar to the history of other Beech model aircraft, the Bonanza 35 played a role in the military during WWII, and the Model 36 Bonanza still happens to be in production to this day.

The following 3 aircraft compose the Bonanza/Debonair family:

         • Model 35 Bonanza (1947–1982)

         • Model 33 Debonair/Bonanza (1959–1995)

         • Model 36 Bonanza (1968–present)

And within the Bonanza aircraft family there have been nearly 50 model variants made in addition to main three models.

 One of those models, the f33 Bonanza, was introduced in 1970 and served the same role as the previous Bonanza variant, the e33, but with some minor improvements made in addition to a deeper rear side window design. Only 20 of f33 were produced.

While the Beech variant, v35 Bonanza was made from 1967-1968, and was similar to the s35 but with a single-piece windshield and a higher take-off weight; around 873 of the v35 were produced.’

Finally, the a36 Bonanza, in production from 1960-2005, was made as an improvement to the original Model 36 in terms of the interior, fuel system, and takeoff weight. After 1984 however, the front was fitted with a Continental IO-550-BB engine, as well as a completely redesigned instrument panel and control layout.
